Everyone is Entitled to Accessible Care: Donor Profile
Jay and Kathy Theado moved to Richmond in 1993 and got involved in the community by volunteering with local non-profits.
“Our church supported the Fan Free Clinic for many years. We became familiar with the services they provided through the church and we thought this was a worthy cause to support. We are both members of the Chickahominy Medical Reserve Corps and firmly believe that accessible and affordable health care is something that everyone is entitled to. A person in good health is able to live a much longer and more fulfilling life.”
Jay has worked in the information technology field in several industries over the years including banking, transportation, healthcare, and now with an insurance company. Kathy volunteered at their children’s schools and with several community service organizations. Kathy now serves on her church Vestry and on the board of Hope for Humanity. She has worked in several churches in the area and understands the significant role that churches play in sustaining local non-profits.
