Health Brigade’s new community project, Care Is Resistance, is rooted in a simple but powerful belief that caring for one another matters, especially now. Born from the 55+ year legacy of Health Brigade, formerly Fan Free Clinic, this community-centered project invites our neighbors to care about, for, and with one another through story, action, and advocacy. At a time when many people are facing barriers to healthcare, food, safety, and belonging, we believe choosing compassion, dignity, and community is a powerful form of resistance.
