My artwork usually explores views on mental health, mental disorders, social norms and feminism.
I use a variety of materials and processes in each of my projects but have lately settled in comfort with mixed media collage.
The subject matter of each body of work determines the materials and the forms of the work. Each project consists ofmultiple works, often deeply exploring one range of media in an effort to push it to its limits, grouped around specific themes andmeanings. I believe that art can communicate empathy more effectively than any verbal or non-verbal language on Earth. I try tocreate images that can make people feel what I was feeling or understood when I was prompted to create them. Being able to passthose messages on repeatedly through my work is my goal.
