I’m a Virginia based artist creating what I call “Art in Motion.” I aim to create expressions of emotion through various mediums, mainly acrylics. I love using textured bright and bold colors as a way of connecting with people. My favorite technique is impasto, which gives a textured 3-D effect. The joy I get making these pieces is about the process and the theme of transformation.
I started painting eight years ago with the desire to share my love for art with the world, while simultaneously making a social impact. With a strong passion for giving back to our communities, I use my art as a way to support programs that help vulnerable individuals and families. I call it “Art with a Purpose.”
The proceeds from every painting that is purchased is donated to support nonprofit programs in the Greater Richmond area. This truly gives me purpose to be able to fulfill my love for art and giving back to communities in need.
