Everything that excites me about producing art starts with COLOR! I love finding mediums that allow me to express myself through vibrant color. I am constantly amazed at how color captures emotions and, in some cases, events. At this time, most of my work is abstract, but can still be used to illustrate ideas and feelings, for example, the disaster, despair, and bloodshed in Ukraine.

Currently, the mediums I am working in are crayon resist, combining acrylic paint and rubbing alcohol, and “dirty” pouring (combining acrylic paint, a pouring medium and silicone oil). The latter two mediums are pouring mediums.

Although abstract, it is amazing the concepts that can be captured, such as the colors and idea of a sunset, an expression of love, or even the telling of a story. Each piece is an exciting adventure.
