Cristina Kincaid, MSW serves as the director of Health Outreach & Advocacy at Health Brigade. She leads the largest department at the agency with a staff of 14 responding to over 10,000 client contacts a year. Cristina has participated in statewide HIV prevention and care planning efforts. She worked with the Virginia Department of Health ensuring that the VDH HIV planning process was in line with the National HIV/AIDS Strategy. Also, she worked on the five-year Jurisdictional Plan which dictates Virginia’s process for reducing HIV incidence and HIV related health disparities. Her professional interests include trauma informed supervision and coaching. She holds a B.A. in Women’s Studies and Political Science and a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She started at Health Brigade in 2009 as a Case Manager and is currently the longest-serving woman on staff.
